Ingredients: Creamed Sauce Mix (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, modified corn starch, buttermilk powder, enriched wheat flour [niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, riboflavin, and folic acid], corn syrup solids, nonfat dry milk powder, salt, spices, sodium caseinate, dipotassium phoshate, disodium inosinate and gyanylate, carmel color). Cooked Beef (beef, salt, natural flavor).

CONTAINS: Soy, Milk, Wheat.

Directions: To prepare a single servings:
Place ¼ cup dry mix in pan or pot. Add ½ cup of cold water and mix well. Follow steps 5 through 7 below.

To prepare entire can:
1. Remove and discard oxygen absorber from can.
2. Mix can contents.
3. Place contents of can 46.1oz in large suitable container.
4. Add 22 cups of cold water to dry mix. Mix well.
5. While stirring bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
6. Gravy will thicken upon cooling.
7. Stir and serve.

NOTE: Oxygen removed by either nitrogen flushing or oxygen absorbers. Oxygen absorber not for human consumption. Discard packet immediately upon opening.

 

 

 

 

Storage and Handling

 

DO NOT OPEN UNTIL READY TO USE


It is necessary to store Mountain House products properly to ensure maximum shelf life. Store the product in a cool area, avoid long-term storage above 72 degrees F, and be careful to not puncture the cans. Under these conditions, Mountain House meals will maintain its shelf life for product quality flavor and nutritional value.

Once open, contents should be used immediately. However, product resealed using plastic recloseable lid has been found to be acceptable up to one week after opening.

This package is sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may have occurred due to shipping, handling or variations in the product density.
