Ingredients: Cooked Beef (beef, flavoring, salt), Seasoning (tomato powder, sugar, vinegar powder, sodium diacetate, onion, modified corn starch, salt, brown sugar, worcestershire powder, spices [including cayenne], red & green bell peppers, xanthan gum, natural flavors, and less than 2% silicon dioxide & sunflower oil added to prevent caking), Tomatoes (diced tomatoes, tomato juice, citric acid, and calcium chloride), Red and Green Bell Peppers, Onions.
CONTAINS: beef, tomatoes, peppers, onions, spices Directions: To prepare a single servings: 1. Mix can contents. 2. Bring ¾ cup water to a boil. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Add ¾ cup dry mix. 5. Stir until mixed thoroughly. 6. Cover. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. 7. Stir and serve. To prepare entire can: Add 7 ½ cups (60 oz) BOILING water to contents of can. Follow steps 5 through 7 above. NOTE: Oxygen removed by either nitrogen flushing or oxygen absorbers. Oxygen absorber not for human consumption. Discard packet immediately upon opening. |
Storage and HandlingDO NOT OPEN UNTIL READY TO USE It is necessary to store Mountain House products properly to ensure maximum shelf life. Store the product in a cool area, avoid long-term storage above 72 degrees F, and be careful to not puncture the cans. Under conditions, Mountain House meals will maintain its shelf life for product quality flavor and nutritional value. Once open, contents should be used immediately. However, product resealed used plastic recloseable lid has been found to be acceptable up to one week after opening. This package is sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may have occurred due to shipping, handling or variations in the product density. |
