Results Our Latest COOKING TEST on 3/3/2005
In our constant effort to ensure the continuing quality of each our products, we test and re-test our products from time to time. In our latest test, we again found that the NUWICK candles did an excellent job. In our cooking tests, we used one of our Nuwick Folding Stoves and one NUWICK candle with three wicks. The candle generated enough heat to bring 1 cup of water (+/- 70°F) to a ROLLING BOIL in about 12 minutes and we were able to scramble a Large AA Egg in about 4 minutes minutes. When using 2 wicks, we found you can scramble an egg in about 5-6 minutes or boil water in about 20 minutes.**
The wax used in the NUWICK candle is also unique. It has been specially formulated to be slow burning and non-scaulding plus the wax remains solid unless exposed to high heat. The candle metal container is designed not to tip over when placed on a level surface. Can has a slip-over metal lid that acts as a storage case for the included wicks (6 are included), wooden matches, an tweezer (used to mover the wicks around when burning for complete wax usage). They'll always be there when you need them.
