Unlike most backpacking pouches, they're made NOT TO EXPAND when hiking or camping in higher elevations. Each pouch takes up less space in your backpack (or boat, rv, EMERGENCY PACK, glovebox, etc.) plus the pouch features a convenient stand up zipper foil pouch for simple and easy reconstitution and eating... just add water, wait about 5 minutes, and eat straight from the pouch. No messy bowls to wash or clean...ever!

Rice: Precooked Enriched Rice (niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, folic acid).
CONTAINS: Milk, Anchovy, Wheat, Soy. EASY TO PREPARE: 1. Open package at tear notch. Remove and discard oxygen absorber from pouch.* 2. Carefully add 1 3/4 cups (14oz) boiling water to pouch. 3. Stir thoroughly and close zipper. Let stand 8-9 minutes. Sir and serve. Enjoy as a filling or eat right out of the pouch. *The enclosed oxygen absorber contains powdered iron oxide to ensure product freshness. |
