One of the best kits available Review by Jimbo
Quality I've looked at a lot of 72 hour kits and this one offers the best combination of quality, completeness, and value that I've found.
On one hand you might find it hard to spend a lot of money on something you may rarely if ever use, but on the other you know your life may depend on it if you ever do have to use it.
This kit is pretty complete, the quality if it's contents is generally very high, and it's reasonably priced which makes it a real winner.
I choose to switch out the flashlight and knife for real Swiss Army products, replace the radio with an Eaton FR160, and add a few items like a roll of duct tape, a lighter, and a few other things and still end up with an excellent kit at a reasonable price.
Putting the individual pieces together yourself would cost you a lot more. Even if you choose to change out a few pieces and augment the kit a bit the kit offers great value.

Quality I love the 2 person-72 hr. Executive Nitro-Pak I just received. The back pack is very well made with tons of pockets and designed beautifully.
All the survival gear-food-etc; inside is just exactly as described on the web page.
I did order additional water & snacks and they fit right in the already full Pak quite nicely. I encouraged my friends to check out all the Nitro-Pak survival supplies since I was well pleased with my order! (Posted on 9/11/11) -

Quality I wanted to be able to efficiently take care of myself and my partner in the aftermath of a disaster. Although I will store up other things as well, if I must leave the house in a hurry, it's great to have everything needed in one well-designed bag. The contents are all high quality as well. Quality I would keep the back pack "BLACK" so when your in the element and hiding from looters trying to get your supplies they wont find you as fast. I would rather to have the back pack camoflage. (Posted on 4/19/11)
