What an INCREDIBLE Ride It Has Been!

Dear Friend and Loyal Customer,

Let me start off by saying how much we have enjoyed serving you and your family these past 32 years! We owe you a debt of gratitude for your loyal support and patronage. It is friends like you that has made this journey so fun!

My wife Vickie and I count our lucky stars to have had the opportunity to have our dream jobs for doing something that we have such a passion for! It has been an incredible adventure, whether building catalogs, sending email ads, finding new cool preparedness gear, talking to customers, going to preparedness fairs, living thru Y2K, the avian bird flu, 9-11, traveling the world in search of new products, etc. Wow, what a ride it has been!!

Thanks for the memories. We are debited to you for your suggestions, product reviews and letting us serve you. Since our beginning back in 1985, you have helped provide great paying jobs for over 800 people. On behalf of all of them, THANK YOU!

I also want to publicly thank my current incredible team of preparedness experts that have worked so hard for you. At the top of the list is my general manager, friend and buyer Gaylen Bywater. He has been with us for nearly 20 years and I will sorely miss working with him. His contributions have been endless. When something needed to be done, he was always there. He made sure the gears were well oiled to make sure products were in-stock and the staff worked cohesively. No employer could have asked for a more loyal and faithful employee. Thanks Gaylen, I could not have done it without you!

Another person behind the scenes has been Aaron Curley who has been our IT manager, webmaster, graphics person and a host of other jobs around here. He’s often burning the mid-night oil to get our ads out on time for you. In addition, Aaron is married to my daughter Kristen who has worked on and off for us since she was a teenager in the family business. As a mother of four children, she does it all and we are so proud of her and her contributions to the family business!

In the warehouse has been Felipe who busted his rear end every day to make sure your orders were perfectly pulled, packed and shipped to your home without fail. No one has done that better over the past 32 years. We will miss him!

My favorite employee, friend and eternal companion is my wife Vickie. She is the wind beneath my wings and has helped me every step of the way in our 38 years of marriage together. As partners, we have enjoyed the good times, great times and tough times together. She has done it all from balancing being the mother of five, taking customer orders, balancing the books, pulling orders, shipping, etc. etc. As an owner, she did whatever needed to be done and I have enjoyed working with her hand in hand with her and I look forward to that in retirement and beyond. We hope the next chapters are just as exciting for us!

Saying good-bye is never easy. This is really tough for me to do. Nitro-Pak started as my dream to fuel my passion for preparedness. It has been my “baby”. As the ‘ultimate’ Boy Scout, I have loved every moment of getting to try, test, and find preparedness foods and products to help you enjoy a little more security and peace-of-mind in today’s uncertain world. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for making my dreams a reality. For helping me provided great jobs for a host of awesome employees, vendors and their families.

Since starting Nitro-Pak at age 30, I have gained an appreciation for American entrepreneurism. I am living proof that the dream is still alive and possible! How grateful I am to have lived the dream owning my own business, to have been my own boss, to have had the freedom to set my own hours, travel the world and to help others to reach their dreams also. Thank you for making this dream come true for me. This life is all about relationships; family, friends and neighbors. We are all children of our Heavenly Father. He loves each of us. How grateful I and to him and his son Jesus Christ, my Savior who has made my success in life possible.

I am looking forward to the next chapter in our lives. I have been greatly blessed with five wonderful children and eleven grandchildren plus an incredible wife and companion. Who could ask for more? I am a bless man indeed!

For those who have wondered where they can buy their preparedness supplies in the future, I am in discussions with a few companies to see if we can find a company who is just as passionate as we have been to pick up the ball going forward. I hope in the near future that that I might be able to make such an announcement. I’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned!

For now, words feel inadequate to express our gratitude to you, for your support and loyalty. Hopefully this is not good-bye forever, but a just temporary good-bye until we meet again one day.

May God grant you much success and happiness always’

Be Prepared!

Harry & Vickie Weyandt
